Record system pressure, pressure peaks, rod or piston speed, minimum and maximum temperature, and the hydraulic fluid in use. These factors narrow the suitable seal profiles and materials.
Check the hardware
Groove dimensions, surface finish, extrusion gaps and alignment directly affect seal life. A premium seal cannot compensate for damaged or incorrectly machined hardware.
